Website designs

above are my sketches of website designs, from these i have decided i want a
more illustrative website design, although there are a few graphic styles i like.

i like this style website, as on my home page
it shows a variety of my my work, mainly
collages, ripped up. it also has some ripped lined
paper for me to write a introduction about myself
on, and to contain the header which will be my
name the navigation buttons, which will be
instantly recognisable. this style website will be
more illustrative than computer style, which is
what i wanted to achieve. all the pages of this
website will be in a similar style, with the use of
collage.

the image above is of a design with text and
hand-drawn illustrative images, it'd be a simple
idea, with plain colours. this design doesn't
really stand out to me and i don't enjoy doing
illustrations, and would prefer to do collages.

Mel kadel

website layout

this is another website layout that I liked. I want my website
to be in a similar style, with a handmade theme throughout.
Instead of paintings like this, I would prefer to do collages

Face

handmade collages

i did these collages for my packaging project. I did a variety of hand-made
collages for the packaging surface and/or interior. the collages shown here
are the outcomes which I thought had the best results, - especially for the
target audience I was aiming at. I used the type 'face' (in the collage at the
top) as it was the brand name for the makeup. the top collage is what I
wanted to achieve, as the faces I've chosen have bold make-up and colours,
whereas the collage above has a more nude, natural look about it

i really like the style of this website and the designs featured. they are
inspirational and shall incorporate their style in to my future designs. on
this website I prefer the handmade collages, in comparison with the
digital designs
