I've now finally finished college! I have really enjoyed it but I am glad I've finally finished all of my work. I will miss everyone and I am so grateful for the help I have received whilst being on this course, and I am so lucky to have such good tutors.
Leaving college - I'm still not sure what I want to do, I still don't really want to go to University though. I am going to look for a job in an area I will want to progress in, hopefully in Graphic design or Event Coordinating. I really would like to travel, so if I could do the internship with 'Travellers Worldwide', to do PR, Marketing and Events in China, it would be perfect.

Private show
On the 17th of June, 5 - 8pm, we had the private show for our end of year show. Unfortunately I couldn't go, but I know the show was good and the evening was a success.
Website
This is my home page for my website, I chose to do a simple layout with the use of my collage as the background. I really like my website, and I feel it turned out a lot better than I thought it was going to. I like the simplicity and neatness of it. But if I was to do it again, I would want a different collage to be a background for each page to make it visually exciting.

Updating project grades
So close to finishing now, and I have updated most of my projects. I now have a full merit in Typography, and am currently working on my Narrative which I hope will help me achieve my target grade. I've finished my website, which I am happy with, and helped me gain more points towards my final grade.
End of year show
Its now the end of my final year at college. We have had our end of year show, which was really good. Everyone helped preparing the room and looking after it, which gained us points for unit 10 personal and professional development. Whilst the show has been on, everyone has been updating their project grades.

Final major project update
I handed my project in and from the feedback I had to change my finals as they didn't work in the David Carson style. Below are my new finals:

Final major project
For my fmp I have chosen to do a poster on Toni and Guy, and as they sponsored London Fashion Week I shall base it on that. At the moment I am looking into the history of Toni and Guy. I have looked at theirs and other hair brands existing posters and magazines. I shall also look in to the history of posters and the history of hair.
I shall look in to David Carson, as I want to work in his gnarly, distressed style, and any other artists that work in a similar way.

Online portfolio
I have started an online portfolio as I needed one to send to Camberwell College of Arts.
For this I have had to create an Flickr account:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/hellomollyjones/
So far I have selected a few pictures which I need to narrow down to 10 images, and for each image I need to give a description of it.

I'm still indecisive about what I want to do when I finish college, so I have applied to some Universities.
My choices are:
Coventry University, Graphic Design
University for the Creative Arts; Epsom, Graphic Design
University of the Arts London; London College of Communication, Graphic and Media Design: Advertising
University of the Arts London; Camberwell, Graphic Design

Website layout
I am now designing my website layout, and have decided to go for a simple design, with nude/natural colours. And mainly have bold text and will be easy to navigate round.
